War Drill

I'm on holiday hence the lack of updates. Plus, writing a super long entry on my iPhone is a bugger. So I have to use Abah's lappy in order to blog. Anyways, I'm currently at KK with my sisters. Hubster left on Sunday to God knows where. I'm already at the end of my holiday. Will fly back to KL tomorrow. Angah's convocation day is on Saturday. I'll only come back to KK after that insyaAllah.

I've never experienced living inside a military base before. Now that Abah is in charge of the submarine, he has no choice but to stay here. It's kinda fun actually, minus the check point at the front gate. Last Sunday, they were doing an exercise, they called it 'Pertahanan Pangkalan'. It's like a war drill. There were people in uniform everywhere. Passwords were needed to go through the check points and they were changed every hour or so! It was boring during day time because nobody wanted to get out of the house and go through all the hassle. But at night time, it was a different story. We had to switch off our lights and the base was actually very dark and SCARY! There were people guarding our house and it was quite disturbing suddenly seeing them outside the house in the dark. There was a loud bang, like a gun shot and everyone went to see what it was. Later, we got a call saying there's a bomb outside our house, at the porch. Then we heard sirens wailing, the firemen were here to defuse it. Very funny. And the rest was history as I was already asleep. Couldn't be bothered anymore. Ngeee.

Anyways, I should probably take my shower. It's raining outside and we're not allowed to go anywhere. But Abah said he'll take us out to dinner tonight. So, til then, toodles!~
